Simple button controls make it easy to cycle through light effects, adjust brightness, or start/stop the motion. The app simply lets you control the light from your phone and customize the settings of the built-in red, green, and blue nebula clouds and either blue OR green laser stars, depending on which version you bought of the Sky Lite 2.0.Bliss lights Transform your space with bliss lights Blisslights skylite BlissLights SKYlite Laser Projector + LED Nebula Cloud Bring a galaxy indoors! The SKYlite instantly projects a field of drifting stars against a transforming blue nebula cloud. Please note the Blisslight Sky Lite 2.0 is the ONLY model currently compatible with the app older models do not have Bluetooth and will not work with this, plus the app wouldn’t be able to add any additional colors anyway as the colored lights and lasers are actually built into the machine itself. I think if you leave it plugged in and just turn it off, it automatically connects when you turn it back on. A bit annoying, but clicking/holding on the picture & telling the app to “forget” the device, then pairing it again fixed it. I believe that happened because I’d unplugged it. I followed the instructions and connected easily, though I did later have the issue where the device icon was grayed out in the app & wouldn’t connect. The light looks so cool and the app works great. Those are some thoughts of mine, overall it's a decent product and the app is somewhat okay-ish for its purpose, though I think some changes should be made to be much more user-friendly. I also would like to be able to customize the nebula colors other than just altering 3 clouds on the RGB scale, as nebulae are many more colors than just that and the colors that you provide are so incredibly bright. I also wish there were a way to change the stars' colors, because the bright blue is really bright for me when I'm trying to sleep and doesn't work well with me trying to keep my room dark. The app works just fine on my phone, however. For whatever reason it does not work on ipads in some areas, such as saving timer settings (save button doesn't work) and if I try to connect the iPad to the light besides the first time I did it last night, pressing what should pair it automatically doesn't do so. I got this light a couple days ago, first time using one of these and so far I really love it, but I'm having some issues with the app. Why does the app mess with my backlight settings? Why does the app's Share feature not work? I must go into my device Settings to restore my desired backlight settings. Also, each time I invoke the Share function, the app causes the backlight on my iPad or iPhone to be immediately set to full brightness. Any new device added always kicks off previously added devices. ![]() I have tried to add additional devices using the Share function per the instructions, but it does not work. This will result in the latest paired device being the only one able to control the light. The instructions warn that if a device is paired to the light, via Bluetooth, wihout using the Share feature, that when the new device is added any previously paired devices will be disconnected. However, the instructons state that, via the app's Share functon, it will allow the user to connect multiple devices to the Skylight so that it can be controlled by multiple users. I am able to control my new Skylight 2.0 with this app from either my iPhone or iPad. Light control works but Share feature does not
